Evergreen Elegance

Hello and welcome to my weekly "casing the catalog" video and blog.  This week I am featuring the Evergreen Elegance stamp set found on page 91 of the current Stampin' Up! 2021-22 Annual Catalog.

This wasn't a difficult card to make but it did take some time because I fussy cut out all the trees.  I used the Wintry 3D embossing folder and I have fallen in love with the beautiful design.

Of course all the instructions, measurements, tips and tricks are found by watching my YouTube tutorial.

As always, those who place a merchandise order of $50.00 to $149.00 AND use the current host code will receive a free gift from me in the mail.
The host code for October, 2021 is:  KP2NEFFR

Blackberry Beauty #simplestamping

Another very simple yet beautifully elegant card made using designer series papers.  You absolutely cannot make anything but a beautiful card with the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper.  Six designs with beautiful foil accents and 6 sides with coordinating patterns.  The video tutorial for the card in this post can be seen HERE.

Even the professional photograph of these papers don't do it justice.  They are beyond beautiful.  And, who can resist foil accents?  I know it gets me to buy it every time and I am not disappointed at all!

As you know I really like to embellish the envelope flap as well to make a complete look.  I had some craft paper envelopes left over from a past Paper Pumpkin kit and thought they would work perfectly with these papers.

Merry Snowflakes Bundle

Here is this weeks link to the   Video Tutorial  for my "casing the catalog" video and blog.

I am happy to bring you a Christmas card today using the Merry Snowflakes Bundle from Stampin' Up!.  I needed some snowflakes because to me Christmas just isn't Christmas without snow.

You will find this card pictured on page 65 of the fall mini Stampin' Up! catalog.  While I was able to imitate the card I did incorporate some of my own techniques.  For instance, I didn't have any of the silver foil so I had to improvise.  See what I did by viewing the video.

As always, I invite you to shop with me through my online store which you can access by clicking on any of the images below.  If you place an order of $50.00 to $149.00 AND use the current host code I will send you a gift from me to thank you for your order.

Blackberry Beauty & Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack

I have said it before and I will say it again.  Use that designer series paper!  You know what I am talking about.  Those beautiful papers you just had to have that sit on your shelf waiting to be used but are just too beautiful to cut up.  I know I'm not alone when I find the new catalogs coming out and I have several packs of designer series papers still on my shelf that haven't been used.

Today's post uses the Blackberry Beauty designer series papers and the coordinating Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack to make a beautiful yet simple card.  You can't go wrong with this DSP.  It is so beautiful with the one side embellished with foil accents and the other coordinated with accenting patterns and color combinations.  All of the details can be seen by watching my YouTube tutorail.  While you are there please subscribe, I love sharing what I do and try to make sure to offer lots of tips and tricks in my videos that even seasoned stampers can use and enjoy.

Even the professional photograph cannot capture the beauty of these papers.  They deserve to be used and I hope today's post will inspire you to pull them off the shelf and use them to make some really beautiful fall cards.

Here is one I made:

And it is so much fun to add some matching DSP to the envelope flap just to make the whole package look beautiful.  I had some craft envelopes left over from a previous Paper Pumpkin package and I decided they would be beautiful accent to this card.

Simple, yet beautiful.
