Celebrate Sunflowers Slimline

Hello Stampers!  It is good to be able to share with you again.  I spent 9 days in the hospital battling the dreaded COVID and am thankful to be home and recovering.  Today is day 26 of my journey and I finally have enough energy to get creative again.

Today I am casing the catalog, Celebrate Sunflowers, found on page 17.  It was fun to bring out this returning stamp set and the coordinating Sunflowers dies and use some of the new 2021-23 In Colors with it.

The sunflowers in my garden are about 2 foot tall right now.  I am looking forward to seeing them bloom.  This is a perfect time of year to break out this set.

This is a slim line card and I have found there are many different sizes that crafters make these cards.  The traditional size of a slim line card is 3.5 x 8.5 and there are envelopes available from various sources for that size. You can use a standard #10 envelope and if you do you can cut the card larger so it could be 9.24 x 4.

I do have details on how to make a slim line card envelope for the 3.5 x 8.5 card using designer series papers on a YouTube Video.  As long as you put a white label on the front for the address it is mailable.

Today's card measures 3.75 x 8.75 and the instructions for making an envelope to fit this size can be found in today's video on YouTube.

Just three colors for today's project.  It was fun to bring in the new colors to use with this returning set.  I think it brings new life to it.
