Hello Happy Stampers! Once again it is time to share a #simplestamping card and along with that I always add a stepped up version. I sometimes find it difficult to come up with simple card ideas as I have a hard time not adding layers and embellishments to everything I make. It helps when I know I can add a stepped up version to what I'm doing.
First of all let me tell you that on June 2nd I posted a card and video that showed how I got inspiration for making that card and today I am continuing to use the same concept but in a different way. Be sure to check out that video as well as today's FREE video. Here is the #simplestamping card that I made for today.
This may not qualify as simple stamping in the strictest sense as it does incorporate the use of a home made stencil but... In the June 2nd video I explained that I had a piece of basic white card stock that I had die cut a bunch of this design from for a workshop I had coming up. I save the piece and used it as a stencil to make this card.
I used Tombow Repostional adhesive on the back to hold it in place and blending brush to apply the color.
But as I said, I always try to offer a stepped up version of the card so here it is.
What do you think of this one? For this I incorporated the Gilded Leafing. Check out the video for how I made that work.
