Casing The Catalog - Darling Donkeys

It's that time when I case a card from the catalog and show you how it is made.  You probably don't need much instruction for this one but just the same I have prepared a video tutorial for you to view that is on my YouTube channel.  I hope you'll check it out and subscribe if you haven't already.

Today's project is seen on page 5 of the Sale-a-Bration catalog and it uses the Darling Donkeys stamp set that you can get for FREE when you place an order for $50.00 in merchandise.  Of course this offer doesn't last forever, it ends February 28th, 2021.  So don't waste any time in hopping over to my online store and make you purchases now.

For orders placed online remember the following:
This code is good until January 31st.  If you are seeing this after that date check the right hand column for the current host code.  If your order is $150.00 or more don't use the code that way you get your host rewards.  If your order is under $150.00 please use the current host code.  And Thank You!

Simply Beautiful - Beautiful Cards Made Simply

Today is my weekly installment of Simply Beautiful - Beautiful Cards Simply Made.

I'm glad to share with you a very simple ink and paper only card today made using the Vine Design stamp set on page 64 of the current Stampin' Up! mini catalog.

As you can see it comes as a bundle and the dies are simply beautiful but today I am only using the stamp set.  There will be some cards coming soon using the dies as well so stay tuned by subscribing to my blog so you won't miss out.
In order to stay within the parameters of a "simple" design I have only used card stock and inks to make this card.  The only raised layer is the sentiment which is attached with dimensionals.

The Video for instructions can be seen on my YouTube channel.

Placing an order today?  Of course you are! I know you want the supplies needed to make this card!   If you are placing an order for $150 or more, I want you to enjoy all of the Host Rewards you have earned so don't use the code.  If your order is less than $150, I’d love for you please add this Host Code – ZTZAQ7CE when prompted. This code is active until January 31st.  After that please see the new host code in the column to the right.  Of course when you order online your order will come directly to your door.

January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Hi and welcome to my monthly YouTube Video and Blog featuring January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives.  I have so much fun making alternatives to share with all of you and my customers too!

When I opened the kit I fell in love with one particular card front and utilized that for most of my alternatives.  By cutting the Petal Pink striped card in half I was able to create 8 card fronts that I could use on Basic White Thick base to make a variety of cards.

The extras that I used to make these alternatives are listed below in the supplies list.  The instructions and explanations are in my YouTube Video.  You will want to go there because I have some special little tricks that I share with you there.

Vine Design

Let me introduce you to one of the stamp sets in the new Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!  It is called Vine Design and I was drawn to not only the stamp set but the bundle as well.

Today I am using only the stamp set but stay tuned as there will be some designs coming that use those beautiful dies as well.

This card was actually quite simple to make yet it is still very elegant.

I don't know about you but sometimes I get stuck in a rut when it comes to color combinations and I need a nudge to get out some of those colors that I don't often use.  I have found a site that helps me with that .  It's called My Create Ink and when you go to the site you can choose the "current colors" option and then click on the "surprise me" button and a group of five colors will pop up.  Then the challenge is to use as many of those colors as possible in making a project.  I encourage you to give it a try.  Just click on the image below and a link to the site will open.
As always, there is a YouTube video that gives the details on how the card was made.  I hope you'll check it out and subscribe to my channel while you are there.

To shop with me simply click on the images below to go to my online store.
