Layering Squares Technique Special Someone

Todays post is a bit of the current with a tease about future items that come available January 5th of 2021.  The Video on my YouTube Channel has instructions and tips you won't find on this blog.

That cute set of Special Days stamps and Special Someone dies that carried over from last year's Sale A Bration catalog and are now found in the current 20-21 Stampin' Up! annual catalog as well as the Stitched Shape dies which I combine with the Ombre 6x6 designer series papers that will be available for FREE from the 2021 Sale A Bration catalog with a qualifying order of $50.00 or more.

The colors are Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss and Rococo Rose.  So cute and so fun I'm looking forward to using these on many future projects.

Pair that with a technique that is new to me called Layering Squares technique and a little bit of bling and it makes a really cute birthday card suitable for a special child in your life or even a young at heart friend.  Either way it is bound to make the recipient smile.
Another item from the new 2021 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog is the Many Messages Bundle.  This set is really great and I will have a future video coming that showcases this set.

I have included a list of the items currently available for this card below.  Because the new mini has not gone live yet I can't add the items from that catalog yet.  Those items will become available on January 5th.
  • Oh So Ombre 6x6 DSP Sale a Bration
  • Pastel Pearls  Mini Catalog
  • Snail Mail Twine Mini Catalog
I have a video coming soon, January 12th featuring a variety of cards using the Layering Circles Technique.  Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you won't miss out.  Thanks for sharing the link to my videos with your friends.

Jar of Flowers Forever Fern

It's hard to leave the sneak peeks behind and come back to the annual Stampin' Up! catalog but to stay true to my task list that is what I had to do.  I pulled the Jar of Flowers stamp set and Jar Punch off the shelf and decided to pair it with the Forever Fern bundle.
I've got a video up on YouTube that gives the instructions and measurements.  Check it out and subscribe while you are there.  There are some tricks you will find out about when you view it.

In addition to the supplies list below I did use two items that are coming out in the new 2021 Mini Catalog.  Can you spot what they were?  Give it a guess and add a comment with your answer.

Casing the New Stampin' Up! 2021 Mini Catalog

It's that time when we get to see some of the latest products coming from Stampin' Up!  This is the new Mini Catalog that goes live January 5th, 2021 and it's time for me, your demonstrator to start sharing some projects made using the exciting new suites, bundles and more.

Today I am featuring the Dragonfly Garden stamp set that is found on page 24 of the catalog and I am casing a card from there. I'm not allowed yet to show the pages of the catalog but I can share the products and the card so let's get started.

This card uses the Dragonfly Garden stamp set, Dandy Garden 6x6 Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Mossy Meadow Linen Trim as well as Whisper White thick for the base and regular Whisper White for the art piece.  The sentiment came from Hand Drawn Blooms and was heat embossed with White embossing powder.
Detailed shopping lists will come as soon as the catalog goes live on January 5th.  If you want to know why my stamp case has a pink background watch my video on YouTube

Thanks for stopping by, more sneak peaks to come!

Hey, it's "Blast From The Past" time!  Today I use several items that are carried over and discontinued.
First up a carried over product, Vellum.  Yep, that's right the wonderful product that's been around forever that we often forget to use and forget how many different ways it can be used.  Next up the hand held hole punches.
Remember these? They came in a set with 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 inch punches.  I still have mine, just couldn't part with them for those rare moments when I would need them, like today. And lastly the Big Shot Embossing mats.
When I bought the new Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine I kept these and I am so glad I did.  They still work perfectly with the current machine.
Now let's look at what I made for you today.
This first card is a vellum overlay that has been embossed with an embossing folder.

This one uses the Embossing Plates and one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks.

For this one I used the Shimmer White Embossing Paste and another of the Basic Patterns Masks

There is more info on my YouTube video so bounce over there and check it out.
