Prized Peony Casing The Catalog

Hello and welcome to my weekly "Casing the Catalog" blog post.  Each week I case cards that you can see in the current catalog and let you know how you can reproduce them.  I do my best to be exact but I don't always own everything that is used so I  have to improvise.  The catalogs are a great place to get inspiration.  When I started out stamping I almost always cased or copied cards others had made and I would feel guilty for doing so but I have come to discover that the very reason we put out ideas is so that you can copy them and this is certainly true of the catalog.  I still produce originals as well and those post every Friday so subscribe to my blog and YouTube channel so you can see those.

The smokey air is keeping me inside as it is really thick out there so I have time to make some cards and videos and maybe even get a little bit ahead.  We'll see how that goes.

Here are today's "CASED" cards from pages 82 and 83 of the Annual 2020-21 catalog and featuring the Prized Peony bundle.

I am looking forward to making some of my own designs with this set.  There is a lot of versatility here and the flower is really quite pretty and not as hard to make as you might think.  Check out my video tutorial on YouTube to see how to build the flower.
