Label Me Pretty Blast From The Past

Hello again!  Today is Blast From the Past day where I feature retired or carried over products refreshing them with new products to give them new life.  So if you have the Label Me Pretty retired bundle stay tuned.

Today I made a card using both the stamp set and the punch.  They sold as a bundle and are both retired.  As I sometimes do this bundle is available for FREE to one lucky new subscriber to both my blog and my YouTube channel.  Leave a message when you subscribe to each and I will put your name in a drawing if more than one subscribes to win this set.
This set has some lovely labels including one that says "from my kitchen to yours" which would work great with those coffee cup carriers and mini coffee cups.  Just design one and put some sweets in the cups with the tag.

For this card I used some of the Laser Cut Gold Foil Specialty Designer series paper and I turned the panel over and colored it with several colors of green blends pens.  I love the look and felt it fit better than the gold.  To learn more about how I did that and how I attached it to the card check out my YouTube video.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to subscribe to my blog and my YouTube channel so you can have a chance at winning this bundle.

It's Simply Saturday!

Hello!  Today is Simply Saturday.  The day of the week I share a simpler card.  Typically one layer with not a lot of "extras".

I am really enjoying the Beautiful Autumn Bundle that is in the 2020 Holiday Catalog on page 46.  It is a stamp set bundled with 3 punches.

Two leaf images and an acorn image for the punches.  The stamp set has other leaf and stem images as well and they are all two step stamps which means there is a detail stamp and a fill stamp for each one.  This allows adding color layers that make a more realistic look.

For the card today I used a bit of masking technique so that I could overlap some of the layers.  How much or how little you do this is up to you.  For a video tutorial on how I made and used the "masks" check out my YouTube Channel.

I did use two stamp sets because I really wanted to have a different sentiment and this one comes from Field of Flowers stamp set.  I do like to do something on the inside of my cards so I just added a few more of the images down the right hand edge.
Here I left some with just the detail and no fill.  If you are wondering how I got the multicolors on the images check out my YouTube video where I explain and show how I did that.  I also stamped some on the envelope flap as well to make a complete set.

I am glad you stopped by today, I hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you.  Let me know by leaving a comment and subscribe to my blog so you won't miss out on future posts.

As I usually do I have Free printable instructions and supplies list on my These Are My Stamps site and you can access that by clicking on the blue tams number above the supplies list below.  You can also shop with me through my online store by clicking on any of the product images below.  When you shop online your order processes without waiting for a specific date and it ships directly to you so it doesn't matter where you live.

Have a blessed day!

Joyful Holly Casing the Catalog

It's time to case the catalog and this time I am featuring the Joyful Holly stamp set.  This is a very simple stamp set with just a few stamps but the possibilities of what you can do with it are many.  Of course today I am casing the catalog so you will find the card I cased on page 34 of the 2020 Holiday Catalog.

It isn't "exactly" like the catalog as I sometimes have to improvise because I don't have all of the elements that are used but it is very close and I like to share that you can do the same.  As you can see I decorated the envelope as well.  That is so fun and it just makes for a more complete look.  The maid difference you might notice is that the background is from Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper which has been discontinued.  I am sure you have some Christmas paper you can use for a background.

The FREE printable supplies list and instructions are available through my tams site just by clicking on  the number above the supplies list.  And be sure to check out my YouTube tutorial as well.
