What do you do with discontinued stamp sets? Most of my customers keep every set they buy and their library is full. And, like me, get so excited about the new products coming out that those discontinued stamp sets get forgotten. Well, that is what Blast From The Past is all about. Pulling those loved but forgotten stamp sets off the shelf or out of the drawer and giving them new life with current products.
This weeks Blast From The Past features the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set which has been discontinued with the Small Bloom punch that carried over to the current annual catalog and some other current and new items as well.
There are literally dozens of examples on the internet for this stamp set. It was obviously quite popular. One thing I noticed though it that almost all of them use traditional "spring, summer" colors. Light pinks, purples etc. I've been in a fall mood lately so I switched it up a bit with what I felt were more "fall" colors.
I also put some design on the inside of the card and on the flap of the envelope so there would be a complete ensemble.
I made a second one too just for the fun of it. This one I used some of the Artistry Blooms designer series paper, Stitched So Sweetly dies, and the Brick & Mortar embossing folder.
